yummz.....great shopping day with great afternoon tea (?chocolate)...

i reached city slightly earlier and went DFO first ...Sharon has to hand in her thesis ...omg...will i ever be mad enuff to attempt a thesis...i see Sharon and Anna losing sleep over their research and its sends a tremor up spine...hmmm...is degree sufficient ?...

shop ! shop ! i bought 3 pairs of shoes and 1 dress...will show my victory in next post.....

then we went to KoKo for chocolate....wow....i think the atmosphere is better than Max Brenner...will bring Mel, mum, sis and Justina when they come for visit....oh yah , also need to bring Anna as requested by Sharon...haha

its a traditional chocolate platter for 2...Belgian spoilt...chocolate cake, 2 Belgian chocolates, shortbread, chocolate ice cream, chocolate mousse with nuts and iced chocolate....

gals r always happy with chocolates and shopping....

one of the nicest drink ard ...realli sinfully creamy with honeycomb favour...its tasted exactly like crunchie except that it can be real cold ...smooth flowing as well....yummy...

Crown Oaks Day~~~spring carnival

Crown Oaks Day is a traditional ladies day, where women join together in their most feminine outfits for a day of champagne, fashion and fun! jio my classmates to go for the event...suet &MX is interested ...hurray...so met up at southern cross station ...i bought a fascinator ..those nice looking ones are really exp...above 50 Aussie for 1 lol...so i just bought a simple but big flower clip...haha...suet says it looks like i am dancing flemingo....haha....waiting for speedy train to flemington...so many people...all locals...very few Asians...

our entry tix..concession price ~~26 Aussie...those tix for the grand stand can cost up to hundreds....

the betting booth.....omg...which horse to buy?...the bets goes as min as 1Aussie...but then the ppl here buys in hundreds...so when me and suet goes and place our bets in 2 Aussie..the counter person looked at us strangely....haha

i betted on Miss Arapano cos her name is lovely(refer below)....it gives me a princess feeling...and in end it ran up as the winner...even the putter guide brand it as a black horse...not accurate at all... but i guess cos all the horses tat ran today are the top horses in melb so its kinda diff to predict....

my winning horse...won 16 aussie...haha...not enuff to cover my tix also...but it was fun cheering for the horse....

the racing course....so sunny...but good weather....

so grand...my first time in race course...not sure if its similar to singapore style...but then the ppl here is all dressed up and there is a good mix of youngsters and middle-aged and elderly...i reckon Singapore is mostly auntie and uncles....in slippers and sloppy wear....

amazing place....so fun....

had pink sparkling wine to accompany us for the race....yipee...its damn strong la...10.5 percent alcohol...i got a little floaty after the drink...but not drunk....haha....

happy gals....suet is damn spot on ...all her horses she liked by name always come up in the first 3 positions...beginners luck mayb?haha....we din depend on the punter guide lol....

on our way home...appeared tat i took more pics with suet cos her shoes is hurting her...so she is kinda like a model....either she takes with me or MX...haha...so no need to walk much....my legs also hurting...price to pay for vanity....haha....

lazy afternoon with sharon.....7th nov ...

arranged to meet Sharon after work today ...bad day at work cos my client is in bad mood and is frustrated at tiny bits of stuff...so late in meeting Sharon at smith st to shop...so afteri reached smith st then we went to have a drink at this cafe ...nice ambiance

strawberry creme tea...came with a sieve ...initially i tot was a milk shake when i ordered from the menu ..so was kinda shocked when the order came ...but nevertheless...it tasted good....

i was just as surprised cos this strawberry creme is just strawberry tea ...its just the name for it....i love the colour...spent ard 2 hours chatting with Sharon..she is going home soon..envy..to teach as a teacher...it was a great time to catch up in a nice and comfortable place...~~~~

then went to this restaurant for dinner....

red wine, pasta and pizza....wat else could i ask for...so relaxed and chilling out by the restaurant...watching the tram and cars passed by ...its the life to live for....

Ian Chan Ming En is finally born....the struggle for the mum...

finally after a tough and tiring 39 hours, siaw eng finally gave birth to this piggy boy.on the 3th nov..at 8 plus in the evening...omg...i am 24yrs older than him...2 cycles in the Chinese horoscope...i am so old liao...haha..but delivery process is tough...all the pain and suffering...i dun think i ever going to make it...he is such a chubby fellow...

eeee.....so cute ...guess he is having a sweet dream in my arms...

so cute...sure can charm all the girls when grow up....i guess my holidays will be occupied with working, holidaying with my family and friends plus watching this little fellow grow ...

my gift for Ian cos after much consideration i reckon that this is prob going to b one of the thingy that people haven't gotten for him or pass on forhim....Vincent...pls bring Ian swimming when he is older k...

hurray ...mel, mummy, ying and justina is coming to visit....

2 more days and it will be the end of the semester...hurray...i can sleep and eat and do daily shopping . looking forward to the break...~~~~~~~

in the midst of me writing this blog, my housemate siaweng is in labor now...she has contractions since 2th Nov 5am and its already 3th nov 1pm in Australia and she havent give birth to little ming en...poor her...her face was all pale when i saw her last night at ard 12pm ...i guess labor pain is realli terrible.. i once heard from my friend that labor pain is 10 times worst than menses pain...omg...i suffer almost every month..wringling,giddness, vomiting and more....i dun think i ever can tolerate that ..haha...no baby for me for the next 5 years...it will be work, party, tour and have fun...haha...but then i am looking forward to ming en coming home. ...i already very auntie now...the pot of red dates water is ready for Vincent to bring to hospital for siaweng...haha...i am a good confinement nanny...wah haha...
